There's a new song in my heart today,
a song of freedom and of love.
A song birthed out of broken understanding
of who my King is and of what He's done.
A song that calls me to love and forgive
no matter how I've been wronged.
A song that bids me to let all else go
and simply awaken to my Father's gentle voice.
"Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us,
that we may be saved." (Psalm 80.3)
